Zack and Stephanie's Big Beautiful Greek Wedding!

Huge congratulations to Zack and Stephanie who tied the knot on Sunday May 29, 2010 at Fed Hall in Waterloo (check them out at http://weddings.feds.ca). After a few different colour choices, we narrowed it down to an elegant willow green and bright and sunny yellow. It was such a gorgeous combination! Here's a few photos of the reception, I'll post some of the bride and her flowers if I can get some from her photographer! Enjoy!

Let's Catch Up....Our Birthday Weekend!

So it's been a little crazy lately, so I'm trying to catch up. Let's start with AJ (my husband) and I's birthday weekend!

I had booked a wedding in Toronto, so we decided to make a weekend of it and also attend a fundraiser for a big night out! The wedding went so smoothly, and I love the backdrop selection of eggplant with birch trees with green orchids, personalized runner on the cake table and the centrepieces which featured bamboo and the table numbers in both english and Chinese as well as the couple's monogram!

After we finished setting up the wedding, we headed out with friends of ours to Windfall's Buy Design Spring Social http://buydesignforwindfall.ca/home.html It was a fun filled evening celebrating and in the style of the "Dirty 30's". Purple Bouquet

Purple is one of my most popular requests this year, ranging from a bright purple-pink to a rich eggplant. For this wedding, we've created a mixed purple bouquets with a variety of purples to create a dynamic and colourful bouquet sure to stand out! We've used blue bell roses, purple liatris, purple dendrobium orchids, eggplant calla lilies and 2 colours of mini carnations. For the boutonniere, we've used a simple rose with 2 sprigs of liatris to add a pop of the bright purple.

Melinda & Mike's Asian Fusion Wedding!

October 10, 2009 was the date of Melinda & Mike's Asian fusion wedding in gorgeous chocolate brown and ivory at The Cutten Club in Guelph. Check out the personal touches like a tea table where guests could mix their own loose leaf tea and the chair sashes tied "Obi-Style" like a kimono.

Oct 2 we were very happy to help with the ceremony decor for Michelle and Pete who had their ceremony at Rockwood conservation area in an outdoor pavillion. Although we were cold (it was only about 8 degrees), it turned out beautifully and really kept with their style of elegant outdoors.

Carrie's Wedding

We really tried to personalize Carrie's bouquet to be individual and unique, just like her! Carrie had chosen 3 bridesmaid dresses, one in green, one blue and one burnt orangey/red, so to tie everything together, we used peacock feathers and for a nod to her fiance, who is a musician, we incorporated guitar string. The boutonnieres also featured one peacock feather. Here's some great photos that they took at Wings of Paradise Butterfly Conservatory in Cambridge!

Bride's Ball Kitchener

I am so happy to have been a part of the Bride's Ball in Kitchener! We provided the chair covers, chandelier, floral centrepieces, decor for the VIP Tuxedo Lounge, some door prizes, the backdrop for the photo booth and I couldn't have been happier with the way the evening turned out! I had so much fun and we raised some well needed money for the Breast Cancer Centre at Grand River Hospital! Here are some photos from the event! Take special note of my floral fountain! It's my favorite, I'm so happy that it turned out so well (and yes, all real flowers).

Katie's Candy Buffet!

Pink was the theme of the night and the candy buffet (from what I hear from Katie) was well enjoyed again and again by her guests at their wedding! Here are some photos. This buffet was for approx 150ppl and included individual 8oz take out boxes at each person's place setting that was custom labelled with their photo and a thank you from the bride and groom! Candy buffet also includes a floral centrepiece for the table, this time some pink callas.

It was such a pleasure to work with Kerry Ann for her wedding. We provided the jellybeans for her favors, custom name cards, floral pew bows, arrangements for the ceremony and also centrepieces for the tables at the reception.
